I’m still amazed at the number of adults who don’t know the difference between “your” and “you’re” in the English language.
It’s simple…
If you say a sentence and “you are” makes sense, then take out the space and the “a” and and the apostrophe. That’s it. Simple.
If you change the sentence and “you are” doesn’t make sense, then the word will be “your”.
“You are smart.” “You’re smart.”
“Your dog is smart.” “You are dog is smart.” No!
Do this exercise every time. And for all the Grammar Police … You’re Welcome! 🌸🤞😊🤪
